The Great Discovery

The open square of ‘The Great Discovery’ includes lovely oak trees, the old coach workshop, the platform from the d'Eenhonderd Roe station and one of the crown jewels of the museum, the replica of De Arend. De Arend was the first steam train in the Netherlands and ran between Haarlem and Amsterdam. This replica is taken outside and put to use even today. The fairy-tale atmosphere of the square is ideal for stylish and exclusive receptions, casual drinks events and walking dinners.
