Restaurant De Remise is located in the middle of our museum hall, where you can enjoy a varied selection of drinks and dishes, ranging from various coffee specialties such as espresso and latte macchiato to fresh mint tea and homemade seasonal smoothies. For those with a sweet tooth, there are also various treats and pastries.

For lunch, we offer seasonal sandwiches, croissants, homemade soups, and salads. Children can enjoy small rolls with cheese or chicken fillet. We also serve hot dishes such as a beef burger with fries or a weekly chef’s special, such as stewed beef fries.

For dietary requirements or allergies, we are happy to prepare something tailored to your needs, such as gluten-free fries or rolls, or a low-calorie salad. Please ask about this in our restaurant.

Would you prefer to bring your own food, such as a sandwich? That is, of course, allowed!

At weekends and during school holidays, the café is the perfect place to relax before, during or just after your visit to the museum. This charming space, located in the iconic 150-year-old Maliebaan station, offers views of historic steam locomotives. The baristas prepare delicious coffee specialities and there is a wide selection of soft drinks. Fancy something sweet? Try the apple pie, muffins, apple turnovers or a sustainable Spoorkoek.
