The smallest model

Models trains exist in all types and sizes. This model of the NS 1127 locomotive was made by Minitrix and is one of the smallest models in the Railway Museum’s collection. It is suitable for N scale model railways, which have a scale of 1:160. Minitrix was founded in the late 1960s as a division of the Trix model train company. Besides Minitrix, many other well-known makers of H0 railways released models compatible with N scale. These include Lima Minitrain and Philotrain Piccolo, for instance, and Roco introduced models at this scale as well. Z scale is even smaller than N and has a scale of 1:220.
