Winter Station 2026

The entire museum is transformed into a wintry atmosphere with Christmas trees, garlands, hundreds of lights and fun activities. The smell of poffertjes fills the air, and outside fires are burning where you can roast marshmallows.

Reserve your time slot

During Winter Station, reservations are required for admission for all ages. This costs €2.50* and can only be done in our ticket shop. In october, the ticket shop for reservations goes live. Reservations are free for children under the age of three. Even if you already have a valid ticket, such as a Museumkaart or VriendenLoterij VIP-kaart, a reservation is still required.

It is not possible to make reservations for the ice rink and car park, nor is it possible to reserve a time slot by telephone. The reservation is only valid for museum admission.

Opening hours & off-peak ticket

During Winter Station the museum is open longer and has different opening hours than usual. You will find the updatet information here soon.

Ice skating between the trains

The museum hall features a real ice rink where you can skate around an antique train. Skates can be borrowed free of charge, but cannot be reserved in advance. There is a separate skating rink for children, with special skate racks available for them. Of course, hot drinks and snacks are also available. Everyone can enjoy delicious food and drinks around the ice rink while the children have fun on the ice. If you want to skate, be sure to bring gloves.
