Affiches

For years, posters were an important part of the visual landscape in cities and all across the Netherlands. They were a permanent fixture at stations and on city notice boards. Sometimes four or five different posters would be hung next to one another.

The Railway Museum has a wide range of posters on display, many of which were made using offset printing. The posters can usually be seen in the exhibition gallery of the museum.
