Royal waiting room

This remarkable waiting room comes from the Staatsspoor station in The Hague, which was demolished in 1974. Queen Wilhelmina waited for her royal train in this very waiting room. This lavish room with oak panelling in Renaissance Revival style and mohair fabric wall coverings dates from 1892. The waiting room is part of the exhibition ‘Travelling in royal style’.

Possibilities

Because the waiting room is part of the collection, its use is quite exclusive and is limited to private meeting or intimate dinners for no more than 12 people.
