Teaching model of steam locomotive NCS 41

Locomotive with built-in tender from the 41-50 series belonging to the Nederlandsche Centraal Spoorweg-Maatschappij (NCS) at a 1:10 scale. The original locomotive was built by the German manufacturer Richard Hartmann and was taken into service in 1899 on the Utrecht-Zeist and Nijkerk-Ede local lines. Later on, locomotives from this series were used on the Haarlemmermeer lines as well. The locomotive was decommissioned in 1954. This realistic model was made by apprentices at the NS Main Workshop in Haarlem between 1956 and 1957.
