Mr B. Schoonman of Rotterdam crafted this impressive 1:15 scale model of steam locomotive NS6610, which includes a cutaway view of the left cylinder, in his free time. He began building his model shortly after the locomotives from this series were taken into service in 1929. This model was given a place of honour at the exhibition to mark the NS’s centennial in 1939.
