De Arend

A beautifully executed brass model of the very first train in the Netherlands, built by G. Plantinga at a 1:17 scale. Interestingly, the locomotive ‘De Arend’ has not been painted. The carriages, however, have been recreated in their original colours. The 3rd-class carriages are brown, the 2nd-class ones are yellow and the 1st-class carriages are green.
