Arriving by rail shuttle

Travel by train and arrive at the Railway Museum in style! The rail shuttle runs from Utrecht CS to our own station, Utrecht Maliebaan. This is just about the easiest way to get to the museum. Simply step out onto our platform and you’re there! It’s a great start to your day out in the wondrous world of trains.

A valid NS ticket or chip card is required to take the train to the Railway Museum. You can pay for the rail shuttle using your OV Chipkaart. It is possible to check in and out at the Railway Museum.

A train to the museum departs from Utrecht Central station once an hour (from Platform 2). The trip takes only 17 minutes. For mor information about the timetable, please check the website of NS.
